Stuart and Rebecca Nunnally

Founders
Stuart and Rebecca, two of the founders of Faith Academy, are lifelong residents of Marble Falls. They have a passion for seeing Christian education prosper in the Texas Hill Country and around the world. Serving Christ through Christian education, and especially Faith Academy, has been a privilege and great blessing for them.

Amy Lynn Payne

Board Chair and President
Amy Lynn resides in Burnet with her Husband Kevin. They have been blessed with three sons, a daughter-in-law and a grandbaby. Their youngest son currently attends Faith Academy, and they have been part of the Faith family since 2016. Amy Lynn is a civil engineer and develops master planned communities in Central Texas. She enjoys being involved in her community. She has loved Faith Academy ever since she discovered the school and is passionate about its mission and the university model.

Jeff Steele

Member
Jeff was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country. He and his wife Megan have four children, three of which attend Faith Academy. Jeff attended Faith during its first year in 2000. The Steeles live in Marble Falls. Jeff owns a residential and commercial framing company, and Megan owns a beautiful shop located in downtown Marble Falls. They grew up in Christian ministries including teaching and worship team. They are currently serving at a local church plant. Jeff has a passion for people and growing God’s kingdom, and he is honored to serve on the board at Faith Academy.

Todd Cummings

Todd was born in Western New York and moved to Texas in 1989 where he served in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1993 at Bergstrom Air Force Base. He and his wife, Cynthia, have 3 children, one of whom attends Faith Academy. The Cummings live in Lampasas and own property in Marble Falls as well. Todd owns a custom home building company, and Cynthia manages their short term rental business. They attend Bright City Ministries in Marble Falls. Todd and Cynthia are thankful for Faith Academy’s faith based education and the kindness and love shown to their daughter from all the staff and Faith parents!

Crystal Kaylakie

Crystal and her husband, Kevin, are deeply committed to preserving and advancing the mission and legacy of Faith Academy. As parents to five children – spanning elementary through high school – all of whom attend Faith Academy, they understand firsthand the transformative power of Christian education. For over two decades, Crystal and Kevin have been actively engaged in their church and various charitable organizations throughout Central Texas. With a professional background in public finance, Crystal leverages her expertise to support Kingdom-focused initiatives and strengthen the institutions she serves. Crystal is passionate about upholding the integrity of the university model and Christian education. She considers it both a privilege and a calling to serve the Faith Academy community.

Michael Thames

Member
Michael and his wife, Cara, live in Smithwick and have been part of the Faith Academy community since 2011. They are proud parents of three children: Tristan and Brendan, both Faith Academy graduates, and their daughter Eden, who is currently enrolled. Cara, a registered nurse, has served as the school nurse since 2022. Michael brings more than 25 years of experience in Christian ministry leadership and currently serves at Camp of the Hills, a nonprofit Christian camp dedicated to reaching at-risk children. Together, Michael and Cara are passionate about serving underserved families both locally and globally. They consider it a privilege to be part of Faith Academy’s mission—one that has deeply blessed their own family and allows them to help extend that blessing to others.

Preston Rosamond

Preston is a native Texan. Growing up on a working cattle ranch taught him the value of hard work, diversification, market cycles, and the discipline of a long-tern approach to investing. Preston has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. He and his wife Shelli are blessed with three children. Their youngest son, Price attends Faith Academy. Preston is passionate about prayer and helping others through servant leadership. Jesus and people are what matter most to him. Whether he is on the lake with his children and two Labrador retrievers, Jet and Hershey, fly-fishing, playing a round of golf, or downhill snow skiing, Preston enjoys being outdoors.

A.J. Pucek

A.J. Pucek and his wife Heather reside in Marble Falls with their five kids, four of which attend Faith Academy. AJ is an entrepreneur and business owner. He is currently the owner of a structural retaining wall business and furniture importer supplying retailers nationwide.  AJ and Heather are passionate about developing disciples of Jesus that are strong leaders and catalysts for the kingdom. AJ feels Faith Academy’s university model provides an extraordinary foundation in helping kids develop into strong leaders. AJ is honored to have the opportunity to serve his community through Faith Academy.

Lane Freeman

Lane Freeman, a Marble Falls native, and her husband Rusty share a deep-rooted commitment to Faith Academy, an institution that has both supported and blessed their lives. They are proud parents of two grown children and a daughter-in-law, all of whom are alumni of Faith Academy and Baylor University, along with an adorable grandson. They eagerly anticipate the opportunity for the next generation to experience the same enriching environment. Lane is a general dentist with a practice in Marble Falls. Together with Rusty, they have played active roles in various ministries. Lane is especially passionate about Kingdom education, believing in its power to strengthen families and foster spiritual growth.

JP Krueger

John Paul “JP” Krueger is deeply committed to his faith, family, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. He’s blessed with nearly 20 years of marriage to Kellyn and two sons, Luke and Roman. JP serves on multiple non-profit boards and is an active international missionary. JP is the founder of Five Stone Tax Advisers, a leading tax advisory firm in Austin, Texas. JP met Kellyn at the University of Idaho where he earned degrees in Finance and Information Systems Management. JP attributes his success to God, Kellyn and his grandpa Jack, a missionary and pastor who still preaches at the age of 97.

Heather Price

Heather and her husband, Aland, have been devoted supporters of Faith Academy for over 15 years. They have two children enrolled at Faith, one in high school and the other in elementary. Sound Christian education and academic excellence are top priorities for their family. They feel the university model mixed with a Christian component are irreplaceable. For the past 15+ years, Heather has worked as a mortgage banker and managing partner at Modern Mortgage, while also volunteering and supporting crisis pregnancy centers. She founded the “Flintstone Loan,” donating a portion of loan profits to Hearts2Honduras, a wonderful non-profit organization providing medical care to the people of Honduras. Heather loves everything Faith Academy, especially the community. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, reading / writing, and going for long runs.
