History

In the summer of 1998, a group of parents heard about a school in Arlington, Texas, that was a new alternative in education. Two of these individuals attended a seminar hosted by Grace Preparatory Academy in Arlington to learn about their concept and explore the possibility of starting this type of school in Marble Falls, Texas. The trip convinced them that God would establish this type of school here, and they began praying for others to join them in this vision. As a result, four families joined together with the purpose of establishing a school modeled after Grace Preparatory Academy. In the fall of 1999, Faith Academy opened its doors for the first time, welcoming 82 students to the campus.

Now, 25+ years later, Faith Academy is a school of approximately 400 students ages Kinder Prep-12th grade, 80+ staff members, and well over 500 graduates.

God has given us so much:

  • A beautiful 28-acre campus in a magnificent location just east of Marble Falls
  • A geo-fill turf football field and track
  • A wide array of extracurricular opportunities and achievements for our students – athletics, art, robotics, STEM and business tracks
  • Students achieving at the National Merit finalist and semifinalist levels, as well as Commended Scholars
  • Students going on to college, to the military, to the mission field, to first responder careers
  • Long-serving teachers, committed to Faith’s mission

And, we look forward to His generous providence in the coming years, answering prayers for a vision that includes:

  • Enrollment of 500 students 
  • A new elementary wing with its own tech room, library, multi-purpose room, and playground with sport court
  • Phase Two of our athletic complex, including a new gym with a concession stand, locker rooms, spirit store, and athletic offices
  • A multi-million-dollar endowment to attract and retain exemplary leadership
  • Development of a vocational tract
  • Online courses offerings, summer intensives, and summer camps

Faith Academy of Marble Falls was founded for parents that have a profound sense of calling and responsibility to raise their children to know and love God and are determined to provide their children with excellent academic education and opportunities. Faith Academy remains steadfast in its mission to partner with families in raising the next generation of leaders, innovators, and disciples.

ACCREDITATION

Faith Academy is accredited by Cognia, and is a member with the University-Model Schools International, Christian Schools International, and the Association of Christian Schools International.
