Admission into Faith Academy is based upon a step by step process leading toward enrollment:
1. Attend an Information Meeting:
These meetings introduce you to the values and expectations of the school, as well as the University Model. All meetings are located at Faith Academy and begin at 7:00pm in the Student Center. Open to the public, no reservation required. Information meetings held during the 2018-2019 school year are:
- November 15, 2018
- February 28, 2019
- June 13, 2019
- July 11, 2019
- August 1, 2019
The decision to attend Faith Academy or another educational institution should be bathed in prayer. We want families and kids to feel that the Lord is leading them to partner with Faith Academy, so prayer is essential to that end.
3. Fill out our on-line application:
This can be done only after attending an information meeting. The online application link will be supplied to families at the information meeting. Once we receive the completed application, we will request records from the previous school to continue the enrollment process.
4. Placement Testing:
Each student in Kindergarten through 12th grade takes a placement test in English and Math (10-12th graders will also take a Science test) to assess their current level of mastery. Placement testing can be completed before submitting an application.
5. Family Interview:
The prospective family meets with representatives of existing Faith Academy families for discussion of school model and fit with the family. Parents and students applying are required to be in attendance, but the whole family is welcome to attend.
6. Registration & Enrollment:
Requesting classes and enrollment as an official Faith Academy student.
If you want to enroll for January 2019, attend an information meeting this fall 2018. For families applying for enrollment in 2019-20, it is best to attend a fall 2019 information meeting.
