Faith Academy is pleased to offer needs-based financial assistance to qualifying families via the Faith Academy Scholarship Fund. Applicants who have begun the enrollment process by attending an Information Meeting and completing an on-line application are eligible to apply for financial assistance.
An on-line application with FAST, an independent third party assessment firm, is the first step in obtaining financial aid. FAST takes your financial data and assesses need based upon proposed tuition costs and available income/assets. Applying a formula that considers expenses as well as income, FAST will make a recommendation that a percentage of tuition be offset by financial assistance. The percentage of tuition covered by scholarship will vary from family to family depending upon need as assessed by FAST.
Scholarships apply only toward the cost of tuition and do not cover any one-time or recurring fees. You may visit the FAST website by clicking on the hyperlink provided here.
Faith Academy is blessed to have extended family and friends give to the scholarship fund at our school. All proceeds go to help offset the tuition expenses of families with a confirmed need for financial assistance. It is our goal to have the scholarship fund represent the school's tithe to the Lord, allowing 10% or more of our students to attend the school while receiving financial aid. For the 2011-12 school year, the mark is an amazing 27%. We thank God for his faithfulness and provision for the families in the Hill Country area.
Donations to the Scholarship Fund are tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Donations of any amount are accepted and appreciated. The approximate cost for one student to attend Faith Academy for one year is $6000.
