1 Corinthians 9:23-25 says, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?  Run in such a way as to get the prize.  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.  They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." 

There are many athletes at Faith Academy, many talented kids in other areas other than athletics, many brilliant academic kids too.  The best of both is what is required in order for an athlete to achieve the status of Academic All-State, they must have the talent and the brains!  They must have a cumulative average of 90 or above, be a junior or senior, and depending on the sport, must achieve district, regional, and/or state level competitions as well.
